Hey guys, I'm new to apple, and I've seen these words around posts. I'm not really sure what they mean, hoping you guys could explain me...
What do these word mean?
GUI
BSOD
kernel
AAC (as in music files, what does it stand for?)
I know I have more words I don't know, I'll post them as I remember them

mmmmm... kernal... haven't had a good panic in a while... man i miss the old OS9 panics... so much more exciting than the new ones!!

It's Motorola's "Generation" for the different CPU models.

Not Motorola's. The "G" does stand for "Generation", but that's Apple's branding.
The PPC 601 and 603 (IBM) series could be considered the "G1" and the 604 series (IBM again) are "G2". The 750xx (IBM) are the "G3" processors, 74xx (Motorola) are the G4 processors, and the 970xx processors (IBM) are G5.
