I'm having trouble adding my Hulu queue to Understudy in Frontrow. The thing is supposed to automatically figure it out, if you are signed onto Hulu from Safari, but that's not working for me.

How do I get the feed url for my Hulu queue?

It wont work for me either - it say I have to be signed into NF in Safari, but then it says it can't sign in. Either with Safari open or closed it doesn't work..

ah well. Nice while it lasted.

Can someone give me a brief overview of how understudy is working please?

I'd like to be able to access BBC iPlayer stuff in front row and this maybe the way forward. not using hulu or netflix i can't really try it myself.

It's still buggy (but works ok for a 0.50 release with a bit of hacking).

I'll take the example of BSG's Hulu feed - feed://www.hulu.com/feed/show/72/episodes. If you copy that from Safari to the FR/Understudy/Manage Feeds/Add/Copy from Clipboard, it'll fail. If, however, you copy http://www.hulu.com/feed/show/72/episodes, it'll work.

Also, there are problems with adding your Hulu Subscriptions and Queue. Say you're logged on to Hulu in Safari, you make sure you've killed Front Row, you return to the Understudy menu, Subscriptions and My Queue show nothing.

Looking at where Understudy stores its settings (~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.frontrow.plist - it shouldn't do that of course, it should use its own settings file ... but anyway) you'll see the subscriptions feed stored as www.hulu.com/feed/subscriptions/XXXXX. Editing the plist and adding http:// in front of the feed URLs allows you to see your queue and subscriptions.
