HELP My iPod mini FROZE

Hey i connect my mini to the dock and the firwire cable to the computer and it FROZE. I cant scroll or turn it off. Has anyone else experienced it before? If so how do you fix it. It will not mount.

I don't have an iPod mini, but I got this from the Apple Support site:

Connect iPod mini to the iPod Power Adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet.

Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Set it to hold, then turn it off again.)

Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 seconds.

how do you like the mini otherwise? I want to get one when they are available here in canada.
