thank god, finally. it looks like the animation isn't exactly the same, the pic of stewie above makes him look older... ah, i don't care about that. i just hope they go back to the original Stewie, before the network re-tooled the character (toned him down amidst complaints), he was much better when he was 100% hannibal lector ;)

I hated that show. But I would be very happy if they brought back Futurama.

If Fox picks it up great but it might not be a bad fit for comedy central.

If keeping it on Cartoon Network at the same time it shows now keeps it raunchy, i'll vote for that ... There are less restrictions on content that late at night. Also if cartoon network keeps it, they are much less likely to move it as often as fox did, in the old days you had to actively watch the tv schedule to see when Family Guy would show next until it just dissapeared....
I plan on getting the DVDs this summe, I've seen all th episodes but it will be nice to some day watch them with my son and let all the jokes about the late nineties go to waste .... same thing with the critic although that was only one DVD and the stabs are at celebrities like chevy chase ...

comedy central might be good, but i don't have tivo, and i need my sleep. hopefully it will be on at a reasonable time.

Cool.
Maybe Futurama next? Angel, too? I look at the crappy shows that are out there now (reality TV... blah), and long for the good ones to come back. I was just getting into Invader Zim, Farscape, and Firefly when they all got cancelled.
Ah well, that's what DVDs are for. SPOON! (brownie points for those who get that)

Yep, I think that's a screen shot from the pilot episode included in the DVD set. I really wish I didn't know that. :)

Yeah, he's working on his mind-control device. It's the episode where they accidentally get $100 000 per week or something :)

Anyways, it would be nice if they traveled to somewhere in the state OTHER than Providence or Newport. Like the Johnston Landfill!

YES!!! I love that show!!! I'm very glad to hear it make a comeback!
I liked Futurama, also, but it was getting kinda stale near the end.

What I'm amazed about is that it's coming back on the mere fact that millions bought the DVD. That is damn cool if you ask me.
WooHoo! Bring on the 35 new episodes! The Family Guy alone may push me to buy a Tivo.

its 150,000 per week... they use the money to get meg collegin implants for her lips, build a moat around the house... etc... the episode ends up with peter dumping tons of cash from a blimp over the superbowl causing a riot... stewie uses his mind control device to keep peter out of jail and get him his job back...
i only hope its on fox so i dont have to get cable... but i agree i want it to be as raunchy as possible...

I agree about the raunchiness. The show actually started out tamer and just got really raunchy by the final episodes. And I liked where it was going between Brian and Stewie. A strange odd couple, if you will.
