4GB third party RAM seems slower then 2GB apple RAM

I bought some third party Crucial 4GB of Ram for my UBMBP and, I don't know, seems a bit slow for 4G? Almost seems as though my 2g was just as faster or faster? You think maybe the brand or something?

Or maybe I'm crazy??
 
like when, I go to the HD and click on application, it takes longer to be able to scroll in one fluid motion. No big deal, and I guess maybe since I'm looking for something, I might over analyze this and, well. Like I said, it might just be in my head, but I could swear that when it had the 2GB it was ready to scroll right when I clicked it.
 
I used OWC 4GB DDR3 upgrade and they work well. Boot up is a little slower as there is twice as much RAM to check. When the spinning wheel just below the Apple logo stops spinning, it blanks for less than a second and the login screen jumps. I swear before the upgrade, here was more than 3 seconds pause before the login screen. Everything else is faster with 4GB in my UbMBP.
I think PC3-8500 ram is CL7 and timing 7-7-7-20. This is what the MCP79M likes.
 
yes, it's in there correctly. No big deal guys, I'm sure it's nothing, I just thought it was kinda strange, you know?
