Hi folks - I am trying to build a part for a design project I am working on and need to find a laser cutting service in london that you guys could recommend - i have been ripped off a bit by laser cutting companies in the past and wondered if anyone could help - i am a student so a fair priced one would be great - i am looking to cut acrylic to make a lamp.

thanks - macpanda.

Oopsie - I forgot to say I am based in London - could anyone recommend me anyone please - thanks - macpanda.

Hi MacPanda

I know very little about this sort of thing but I know a chap who does... I'll send you a pm with his details. He's very friendly and is based in Harrow. He makes lots of prototypes for inventors / museums etc.

near Tower Gateway DLR

I haven't used them, but my girlfriend got some acrylic sheets cut there I think which came out good. I don't know how competitive the price is.
