LED backlight flickering on Unibody MB.

At full brightness the flickering is barely noticeable unless you really tried to look hard for it but you can also see it on website backgrounds with lots of lines, such as the left sidebar on http://gizmodo.com . Also, when the backlight dims after being left alone, the backlight flickers for a couple of minutes and then disappears. I have had this macbook for a bit more than 2 weeks. Should I send it in for a repair/replacement?

Call Apple, ask for a fix. Replacement is given if the laptop repair charges outweigh its current value, or if the Genius wills it so.

Depends on the type of repair. My suggestion would be to ask Apple as they are going to handle the whole thing.
