It basically replaces the home button and even the lockscreen button. It works pretty great!!! You can even reboot,respring,control iPod. It adds like a small layer at the bottom of the screen. To lock the screen you slide all the way from left to right, do half a swipe and some controls come up to power off,reboot,etc. It's pretty awesome! I'm using it now and no problems.
