my powerbook wont accept blank cd-r's

I've formatted and installed OS X recently and ever since then, it keeps ejecting blank cd-r's...
it gives me this error 99...
has anyone else had this problem before?

OSX has done this to me before too but i dont know what causes it.
try going to the preference pane and telling OSX what to do when you
insert blank CD's....maybe another option will prevent the bug (assuming it is a bug) from ejecting your CD.
