i have a jailbroken/unlocked 2g is there an app in cydia that i can get microsoft office or word, excel and so on... onto my iphone? :confused:

Wow, this is a serious question? :eek:

But to answer, no, you can't...just because you have a jailbroken phone now doesn't mean you can install any-and-every program out there, whether it's made for the PC or not...:rolleyes:

Ok, its made for PC.

Yet, its available on OS-X.
And it can be loaded on Windows Mobile, so I'm guessing that somebody CAN put it on iPhone. Whether they choose to or not...

Nah. Not yet.
I'm hoping Open Office will make an app and Apple will accept it.

Well I seen a few iPhones 2g & 3g with microsoft office programs. Or something that was similar.

No, you haven't. Those are themes that skin the notes app to look like Microsoft Office programs, cause i've seen it as well.

First I heard of. Are you sure it was Microsoft Office?
It could be what the above poster stated or a cydia app that looks like Office

hopefully they will if not someone should make something that similar too it for a nonjailbroken or jailbroken iPhone.

It clearly looked like MO, the same interface and all. Plus all the iPhones that had it were JB

No this no that, well u said u seen an appnote as a diffterent theme from a cydia app that was loaded on winterboard, but I've used the programs on those serveral iPhone 2g's & 3g's.
