Hey everyone,

Usually I walk away from my macbook or leave it on overnight, and it goes into sleep by itself.

Recently however, it all of a sudden stopped doing that. It still sleeps when I close the lid, or tell it to go to sleep, but it ignores what I have set on my energy savings window.

I have tried restarting, and shutting down programs in the background but nothing seems to work. Anyone have any idea why its doing this?

Sounds like a power management issue. Have you tried resetting the SMC?
