JBroken Iphone 3G- Some questions

Hi Guys, I bought a Iphone 3g in december 08. I did a JB and originally my version when I bought the phone was 2.1 but I JB and have 2.2. I followe the instructions from a website to JB. Theother day when I plugged in my Iphone to itunes it said that there is a software update available, I did not update it because I don't know if I can update it with a JB phone.

Now my question is has there been a new software release after the 2.2. Can I update to a newer version with a JB phone.

Lots of useful stuff there, but yes, if you only want to Jailbreak, you can update to the latest firmware so long as the dev team has had time to update their tools. :)

With that said, personally I don't believe 2.2.1 is "worth it" enough for me to re-jailbreak and update to. I'll wait for a more significant update before putting in the time. :)
