I guess it's cool that they've improved the graphics but I'd like the Apple II version. I was forced to play that for many hours as a kid.

The Oregon Trail is an educational computer game developed by Don Rawitsch, Bill Heinemann and Paul Dillenberger in 1971 and produced by MECC in 1974.

I find this hard to believe. I was in grammar school in 1971. In 1974, my state-of-the-art high school computer lab had a VAX terminal with punch tape. I assume the actual dates were '81 and '84.

It's great to see all these old games finding new life on the iPhone.
