After many problems doing so, Ive finally booted my 17" imac (intel core2 duo) but a number of applications such as Safari, Garageband, itunes, imovie, software update, idvd, quicktime, and many others will not open. In fact, the only applications I can open are Firefox and a few other 3rd party apps. 😕
I also have found that I can't download anything successfully even though my internet connection is fine. On top of that, I cant install anything successfully either (leopard, safari 4 which i downloaded far earlier, etc...) 🙁
I need to know If I should back up everything now (which I should probably do anyway), or do something else.
