So today my order for 4 GB's of ddr3 ram came in. After installing the ram, when I went to turn on my computer it made a loud beeping noise. After trial and error I realized that my old ram chips still worked. I narrowed it down to one of the chips I just received in the mail as causing the problem. So now I have one 2 GB chip in that is new and 1 (one GB stick in that it cam with). I have to return the dysfunctional chip back to the site where I got it. Kind of a bummer, but at least my computer isn't broken or that i know of yet... Also I need to get replacement screws for my mac, the tiny screw in the back left; the one thats hard to get off partially got stripped. I'd rather replace that now then get it stuck in the machine later.
