Just spent about 4 hours trying to work out why my help viewer kept crashing or running slow or even not responding. Was about to upload 10.3 basic again when found this website ref which tells you how to save the day. apparently your help files are often dumped in the same place as the OSX files which causes clashes.

By the way if I ever have bad corruption of my OSX 10.3.3 can i revert to the 10.3 purely by slamming the disk that came with the powerbook back in as am worried that reintroducing the older OSX will delete my documents and photos
