"Gate Maps" vs. "My Gate Maps": What's the Difference??

Does anyone understand the difference between these two apps, other than the price, and the ability to list the airports as "favorites?" Other than that they seem the same...or am I missing something? Sounds like a useful app for traveling, but I am trying to decide why one is 99 cents and the other is three times as much. Thanks.

The feature of being able to pick your gate and have it show on the overview and detail maps is why My Gate Maps is 3x the price. There's a lot of coordinate mapping that must go into the app to display the locations.

whatever the difference is, seems like most buyers think very poorly of both apps

It's a niche app from a boutique provider. Some like it, some don't. What it does, it does well enough.
