Selling my 20" iMac on ebay.....post serial number?

Should I post the Serial number? Is that not a good idea. I've read on these post that some buyers have wanted ther serial number.
 
I don't think I would put a serial number in the auction page but if you have a serious buyer I don't think it would hurt to give it to them to check over.
