This came out yesterday. I have seen no comments anywhere about it so I started this post. Did you update your Macbook?

I did not. I'm a little confused with this though:

Batteries with this information in the Battery Information section need this update:
1. A device name "ASMB016" or "ASMB013" in the serial number
2. A Pack Lot Code is 0002
3. A battery firmware version of 0110

I'm showing 1 & 2 but my firmware version is: 102a so I'm not going to do it. I don't plan to leave my MacBook off for an extended period of time. I also checked out this thread (http://forums.mactalk.com.au/29/68028-macbook-battery-update-1-4-released.html). -GDF

I'm in the same boat. From reading that thread it seems to work. Though whether i'll try it or not is another matter - surely this should come through on the Software Updates?

UPDATE: I went ahead and ran it anyway, it installed, rebooted, and that's about it. It didn't say anything whilst shutting down like updates normally do, but all seems fine.
