hi, i was wondering what how much RAM can i up my aluminum 12 inch powerbook g4 to?
sorry i figured that out it is 1280mb...has anybody had good experiences with transintl.com for RAM purchases?

@JAJ: The 12" PB G4's only have one DDR RAM slot, so they max out at 1.25GB. There's been a lot of discussion about the limitation and I think that conclusion was that the PB could fit more ram IF there was such a thing as a 2GB DDR333 (PC2700) SODIMM.

Depends on the model I believe. Mine (1.5GHz) has one RAM slot and 256MB soldered onto the motherboard. The max RAM you can buy is a 1GB stick, giving it a total of 1.25GB.

Go to crucial ram's website and use their search function to find the RAM you need. I bought mine from newegg.com.

EDIT: saw you figured it out... I trust newegg, but crucial or OWC are also great from what I have heard.
