So, I got my new-to-me macbook, I used time machine to get all my stuff from my powerbook. now my macbook's name (in the top of finder) is star's powerbook 12'.
It is a small thing, but can I change it to say macbook???
Thanks

Was that the name of your powerbook? Time machine probably just carried the name over. That's usually the name of the account being used I think, I'm not with my MB at the moment, I'll have to check when I get home.
