Is there a way to get high-res photos to the iPhone? I have a large jpg of the Paris metro map for when i go and when I synced it to the iPhone, it loses its resolution. And I cant zoom in to see anything with any clarity.
Anyone know any way to get around this?

You may be able to SSH it in.

You could see what File Magic does for you. It's an application that allows you to move files to your phone and then to view them there. Another approach if you are a MobileMe user would be to put the image there and then retrieve it to your phone with MobileFiles.
There are a few other applications in the App Store that let you transfer files to your phone and view them there.

You can use diskaid to connect directly to the phone bybassing itunes. I use it to get the NES roms inside the emulator in the iphone, and to get the video cycorder records off of it.
