Hi all..

I own an unused, brand new invisibleshield for my old Iphone 2G, and I was wondering if I can use it on my new Iphone 3G. I need only the back cover, not the screen protector.

I know there's some difference in size between 2G and 3G, between will it make a difference for the back cover??

Thanks!:D

The back of the 3G is slightly contoured, so I'm guessing it will really make a difference if you won't be putting the 3G version of the IS.

In all likelihood, the 2G shield will not fit the 3G iPhone.

The entire iPhone 3G is different.

You won't be able to protect the entire front of the device because the glass is slightly bigger. And the curve of the back will prevent your IS back to go on right.

So...no.

Thanks for the replies..

I just ordered a new one, but this time the BestSkinEver one.I've read they're the same, and I still have the material from IS , so why pay x2.5 time.
