can I change the camera photos prefix?

I noticed when I exported some photos from iphoto they were img_666 ect labeled can I change this on the iPhone?

Nope.

There may be some hacking ways, but none to my knowledge.

Nope. Like jmccullough108 said, if you are jailbroken, you may be able to SSH into the camera.app and there may be a default name you can change.
