Let's see/hear them. Whatever you've got under the PRSI banner. Whatever medium. iTunes university, google video, youtube, university websites, media websites etc, etc. But please try and make them quality - not some nut on youtube babbling into a headset. We've got a great depth of posters here in PRSI with a far reach - we should have some great sources to draw from :).
First up that I'm currently listening to and am rather enjoying Ghettos, Prisons and Racial Backlash, the 2007 Tanner Lecture: Racial Stigma, Mass Incarceration and American Values.

There's some quite good other ones on the Stanford Public Policy page....

I haven't had the time to view all of them (yet), but the NCSE has a rather nice collection of presentations, of various mediums, that address the teaching of evolution in science classrooms.

I just finished watching The Beautiful Truth (http://www.thebeautifultruthmovie.com/) (2008). A very good documentary about curing cancer (and other diseases and health problems) through diet.

Great links, but those right wing gadflies at the bottom of every single youtube clip around drive me crazy. I wish I could switch off comments or control myself enough not to look.

Like American politics? Fascinated by the tick-tock of process and the ins and outs?
Forget HuffPo and Politico. Read TalkingPointsMemo (http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/) a couple of times per day. Impeccably sourced and methodically researched. Bill O'Reilly hates them.

Fantastic documentary (which is memory serves me correctly originally is from Canada) about music. This episode deals with music and war through the ages. The section on the impact of music as torture should be of specific interest.

Bloomberg's On The Economy and Surveillance podcasts are largely free of editorial static.
Mandatory listening for anyone who desires a diverse and robust dialogue requiring an aptitude above the 6th grade-level drivel on cable television.

I highly recommend watching the Frontline episodes dealing with the financial crisis as it gives some insight into the decisions making process. I suggest watching them in this order:
Frontline: The Warning (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/warning/)
Frontline: Inside the Meltdown (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/meltdown/)
Frontline: Breaking the Bank (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/breakingthebank/)
Frontline: Ten Trillion and Counting (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/tentrillion/)

I suggest reading The Sacred Balance by David Suzuki. It's a real eye opener about the world and the impacts we have that I'd otherwise never even think of.
This book made me realize that most of our policy debates are so specific that we rarely if ever look at the larger scale and repercussions that our decisions have on seemingly unrelated issues.
Basically, it makes you realize how interconnected we truly are even down to the biological level. Great read.

Interesting article on political party funding which is obviously more relevant after the Supreme Court decision and the midterms coming up.

Charles Ferguson's film: "Inside Job"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1645089/
There's a presskit on the official website. It gives an overview of the people interviewed, various references, and a timeline.

An excellent film and a good overview of what happened to the economy and how it happened. I only wish it had gone further back (to the panic of 1907).

A very good documentary on World War II. Apocalypse: The Second World War (http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/apocalypse-the-second-world-war/)
Thanks to the efforts of a few, private collectors and archivists, these forgotten films have been rediscovered, restored and made available by National Geographic Channel in an extraordinary six-part series: Apocalypse: The Second World War. In addition to stunning footage, the series presents WWII in an innovative and provocative way, giving audiences an unprecedented sense of the reality of war not conveyed by black and white footage.
Made up entirely of original 35mm, 16mm and 8mm films, Apocalypse: The Second World War includes rare footage of the Polish officers’ massacre at Katyn, the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force at Dunkirk, the inhumane treatment of French soldiers taken prisoner by the Nazis and the sacrifice of Soviet soldiers at Stalingrad.
By bringing this incredible footage together, Apocalypse: The Second World War provides viewers with a ground-breaking portrait of WWII that depicts not only its complexity, but the perspectives of both its victims and its victors.
This documentary was made available on TDF thanks to a regular visitor Dai Evans. It’s with excellent quality and as far as I can tell is the only one on the web so far.
EPISODES INCLUDE: The Aggression, The Crushing Defeat, Shock, The Turning Point, The Great Landing and The End of the Nightmare.
Some really unbelievable footage in this one.
