Just a simple 2-question poll:
1. When do you think Apple will announce new PowerBooks?
A) Before WWDC (anytime between now and June 28)
B) At WWDC (June 28)
C) After WWDC
2. Do you think the new PowerBooks will be
A) Just a speed bump (just faster CPUs, no other changes)
B) A speed bump + other changes (e.g. better graphics card)
C) G5
My guess is 1A, 2B

1: as soon as we stop with daily threads about update rumors. ;)

2: not C.

I guess B and B, although I want A and C
The longer the wait goes on the more I think they decided to jump to G5 for the next revamp, knowing that a G4 would not be that much better than is currently on the market. If a new PB isn't out at WWDC then I think a G5 is odds on. Apple want to dump Motorola asap.
If they do a new G4 then I might be tempted because I have been waiting so long if they
- put a single 512 meg ram stick in standard
- AE as standard in all models (no price change)
- faster harddisk as standard
- better graphics cards, + options on better graphics cards...128
- get the screen resolution up, new screens with resolutions to match the PC laptop market -> make better use of Quartz
- OEM Microsoft Office 2004 - cheap$!
- cheaper promo .Mac
- cheaper promo Applecare
- try and push the price down - or at least get Apple Australia to match USA
- offer sweet cheap accumulative software bundle deals with Keynote, Final Cut Pro Express 2.0, (Office, all versions, as said) etc
