Is the 64bit and 32bit versions of Vista in the Vista Home Premium software? Or do you have to purchase the specific one? How can you tell the difference when looking at the package?
Thanks

If you get the retail version, the 32-bit disc is included. You
can order the 64-bit disc from Microsoft and it's essentially
free (you pay a small handling fee and they post it to you).

If you get the OEM version, you choose either the 32 or 64
bit disc. There is no option to order the other disc as above.

No, you get 32-bit unless the box says 64-bit, if do get a 32-bit, there is a $20 fee to send you in 64-bit disc.
