I planning on getting an iMac, but i need to be sure which one is the best one for me... i will be editing digital video, donig architectural 3D animation, and pretty much all the Adobe CS3 and also some windows software from time to time, like Softimage, Maya and AutoCAD.
I was thinking in getting the iMac 24 inch monitor, with 2GB of RAM- Hard Drive of 500 GB, and the 512 MB video card. Im pretty sure that this description will be more than good enogh for what i want to do.
Never the less, i would like to have ur addvice in what system requirments will be enough to work without any problems.
My dad who uses an iMac 20inch monitor with 1GB of RAM, Hard Drive of 320 GB and a 256MB video card. Is currently doing pro photo editing, and just got into high definition video editing as a hobby. He states that he works fine with no problem and he thinks that its not necesary to purchase such a high performance computer
Bottomline, i would need some one to help me decide in which would be the computer that will do the work without being over cualified for the job. And which would be the system requirments necesary as well...
