I've been put in charge of all the contacts for the nonprofit I work for. They created a MobileMe account before I got here, and I'm attempting to consolidate all contacts and sync MM with my Address Book. No matter what I do, I get the error message:
"Could not be synced due to inconsistent data. Confirm that your computer's data is valid, then reset Contacts on MobileMe in System Preferences."
I did manage to export all the contact info to Address Book, which I backed up as an Archive File, then reset the sync data for Contacts in System Preferences. I also unregistered a couple of the computers belonging to people who don't work here anymore, thinking perhaps MobileMe was getting confused. Still to no avail.
I'm pretty new to the Mac world, so am I doing something wrong? Or should I just let our MobileMe account expire and have everyone subscribe to my Address Book and iCal?
