Hi,
I was wondering, if i'm doing doing a lot of rending, but mainly just using photoshop and dreamweaver will the 2.26 Octo be faster then if I had say a 3.06 Core2Duo? Or if I'm using applications that don't take advantage of the multi cores? Thanks

Not likely. The 920 is faster then the Xeon 2.26 at stock speeds.
