Canon All-in-one: will fax work with line that you dial 9 first?

I am thinking of getting a Canon All-in-One Printer/Copier/Scanner/Fax Pixma MX860 for my office at work.

I'm pretty clueless about telecom stuff. Can anyone hazzard an educated guess if the fax function will work on an office line that that requires dialing 9 to get an outside line?
 
There should be an option in your setup to include the 9 when you dial. If not, seems like you can manually enter the 9 when you enter the fax number.
 
I would recommend downloading the manual from Canon's website and looking there. Seems like the smartest thing to do anyway.
