What do you think Apple will do with all the previous 3.06's?

I'm trying to hold out here for perhaps a good deal on the previous 3.06's. They haven't lowered the pre-upgrade refurb price, and nothing in clearance. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks!

The 2.8ghz model is $1199 and only 200mhz slower on the clock vs $1899 for the 3.06. A 500gb hdd vs 320 is a wash IMO considering how inexpensive external drives are now.

Graphics card is better, but over all is the 3.06 model $700 better than the 2.8?

Well theres no more 2.8's for $1199. No I don't think it's $700 better , thats why I'm wondering if or when it will go into clearance.

There's one in the refurb store right now. They add to their stock at least once a day.

Apple likes to keep a lot of old models around to sell for business leases also.
