Every thirty seconds or so I get that soft beep you get when you've done something wrong, only it's been happening constantly for the last two days. I've rebooted several times. 10.3.3, dual G4. Any ideas?

Sounds like you might have a keyboard problem. Unplug your keyboard and see if it still happens...
