I've been customising my InDesign shortcuts constantly at home and in the office, makes for a faster workflow I find. But, right now I'm just having to do one at a time.

And when I go to do something on a foreign Mac its pretty awful for me, is there not a way I can export the profile I have created and keep it in my email for example?

You can do this with print setting, and PDF settings etc no problem, I'm just not seeing how to "save" what I've called "my shortcuts" anywhere I can pick it up.

Thanks!:)

Im not exactly sure, but here is what i did..... Im using CS4....

First, I located the "Presets>InDesign Shortcut Sets" folder in Indesign

There you have Three standard sets plus whatever you have created (in this case Nov08.indk). I would locate your custom set you have on your main computer. I would copy the file and place it somewhere to rename. I would add it to the folder above in the new mac and then restart Indesign. Then you can open Keyboard Shortcuts again and see if its in your drop down "set" menu.

What i did was took my default.indk file and copied, renamed to default2.indk, then placed it back in the folder, restarted indesign and it was there in my list. Hope this helps.

actually, i found this link since, absolutely brilliant, everyone should have this installed. lets you search, assign, load and save shortcut sets whilst still in InDesign.
