Network Admin App - Mobile Simplicity release

I'm pleased to announce the release of our new app, Network Admin!

Network Admin is an application developed for IT Companies and Network Administrators. Network Admin allows you to keep an up-to-date, secure and compact repository of your/your clients’ network configurations with you at all times. No more need to carry around that binder full of spreadsheets or turn on your laptop while on-site to get your customers network details.

Network Admin also allows you to share your company profiles in real-time with your managers and technicians with secure 128bit AES encryption using a private key. Different permission levels allow you to control who sees what information and who has read only and read/write access to your profiles. All of your information is decrypted on-the-fly directly on your device using your private key. Access to the program is also restricted by utilizing a 4 digit PIN number which you create upon launching the program for the first time.

This app was designed to be completely customizable and accomodate any variety of network configuration.

Where is the information stored, locally or on your server? Is there a way to backup the data without performing an iPhone backup?

The information is stored encrypted on our server, which also has a Geotrust SSL certificate. It's recommended that you keep your data in a second location as a backup. The app does allow you to export your data to your email address if need be. If you were to lose your encrypt key (which you create) there would be no way of recovering it or your data. The security is set up so that no one (not us or anyone else) can access the data without a user name, password and your specific encrypt key. Network data is sensitive, so we feel that the security measures taken outweigh the downsides (not being able to retrieve lost encrypt keys, etc.). If you have any other questions, please let me know.
