Erasing parts of a text!!!!! HOW TO?

I have cydia and was wondering what app would make it possible to delete parts of a text message. I don't want to delete the WHOLE message, but sometimes just part of it..
Anyone know what app to download from cydia?!

Just hold your finger on the part of the text and a magnifying glass will appear. Then you can move around, delete what you want etc.

EDIT: Nevermind, just realised what you were actually asking!
 
MobileLog will delete individual texts, but I don't know of one that will delete part of one. Good luck.
 
I have never done this myself, editing a particular SMS message but this may help. I used this to export my SMS messages to a spreadsheet. You could SSH, used Disk Aid, whatever to pull the SMS.db off your iPhone from /var/mobile/Library/SMS/sms.db. Open the db in a database editor and just edit that particular text. Found a good article for exporting SMS to a spreadsheet. Check it out, some of the info may apply to what you want to do.

ialhlou is looking to edit an existing SMS message, not one that is being newly composed. This request does not deal with copy/paste. The last post I put in this thread did work for me if anyone is interested. If not, I learned something looking for this answer. ialhlou, this work for you by chance?
 
Hahaha, what did you send that needs to be deleted so urgently? Haha. You should clarify what you meant. I think people figured it out but I'd at least expect the OP to come back and either clarify or thank someone for their help. How about it OP? You just want to delete single SMS messages right? Did you figure it out?

Heh. I can think of several instances where this might be necessary... 😉 All of which can be negated by regulating other people's access to your phone. A passcode would do the trick if you leave it out for someone else to grab.

Anyway, I think the OP was pretty clear in their post. At least I understood what they were after. And the post was never edited, to boot.

There is one call CopierciN but i think you have to be jailbroken to get it. I have it, dont really use it. Just trying it out but i just dont have a real need for copy and paste.
