How do you jailbreak without the original 2.2.1 firmware?

I'm not an expert with ipods so I don't really know what to do. I updated my firmware to the newer 2.2.1 firmware so how can I downgrade it back to the original?

SHAZAM! (http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/) Download the iPod Touch firmware you want and restore to it by holding alt and clicking Restore in iTunes. But I'm pretty sure you can jailbreak 2.2.1 now.
