I am interested in getting a Quicksilver G4 with specs as follows...

733mhz - Dual 1ghz
512MB - 1.5GB RAM
80GB HDD or better
CD-RW or Superdrive
32MB Video card

Naturally, I realize the orice difference in the range of specifications that I am interested in. The features that are most important features to me are the RAM and the optical drive. The video card isn't of great importance. Basically, I want to use this machine for Photoshopping and as a central storage for my media collection.

I have a pretty liberal budget, so I thought it best to post what I want instead of what I want to spend. I am also interested in a 17" Cinema display or a 20" if the price is right.

This is a serious request! I have cash and am willing to spend it for more Mactacular stuff to supplement my recent switch to Apple.

I am still fairly new to Apple products and their residual value, so if it is OK with you, I would like to get a few third-party opinions. Do you have pics?

heres a link to a pic of my set up http://www.spymac.com/gallery/show_photo.php?picid=86096&size=big

ive seen just the tower w/o the lcd go for 1000 on ebay, but the average price for just the mache is about 800's or so plus shipping and those were all alot lower specs such as 128 ram and so on.

Are you looking to sell with or without the display? I will do further research just for my own personal gratification, from what I do know, though, 800 would be about right without the extra stuff like the additional HDD and extra RAM.

BTW, that is a good looking set-up and I think it would look pretty good on MY desk :-)

K, I've got some prices in mind. If you could, so I can provide a more exact offer, what do you want to include in the sale? One last question, is the display 17"?

the display is a 15. ok, my system in cludes the fallowing, powermac quicksilver G4 733MHz, 1 gig ram, 40 gig stock hd, 120 gig maxtor hd, ati radeon 7500 mac edition (has vgz and adc connector), cd-rw, Apple pro keyboard, Apple pro laser mouse, Apple pro speakers. retail boxed mac os x jaguar, mac os x panther, apple works 6. the system works fine and has never had to go to apple for repairs. i also have he fully functional, no dead pixels, 15 inch lcd studio display, it has 2 very small(size of a piece of sand scratches or marks) that are hardley noticeable. i could also include a untested scsi card, pci us robotics modem. also i could swap the keyboard/mouse for a microsoft wireless keyboard/optical mouse combo. make me a offer, i dont think i forgot any thing this time. lol

Hmm.... I wouldn't be interested in the Micrososft keyboard and mouse, the Apple ones are preferable. Let's kick off negotiations at 1300. :D

Hit me up on AIM if you would like, my SN is diavolo770.
