iPhoto- imported photos go in the middle of library

Hey all,

Has anyone had this problem? It's so friggin' annoying:

I drag and drop a jpeg or group of jpegs into my iphoto library and the app just places them randomly in the middle of my library. I've tried having my newest photos at the top and/or the bottom but it doesn't help the problem. This wasn't a problem until the new iLife came out. I'm so pissed..

Anyone know what I should I do? Thanks.

i'm sure you've checked this, but do you have the setting to arrange by date? or by title?

i have it set by date. Does this mean 'date of import'? I've always assumed that's what it means. I've tried all of the options of arrangment and I still get the random placement.

no, it's the date of ind. pics. if they are digital, they should have the date imprinted...
