Any reason why Mobile Me is down????

It's Saturday avo at 18:15 and just noted that MobileMe is down with a message displayed at the Login screen.

Does this happen often or does it suggest they're working on something........Hmmm.........surely not some more features or God forbid, stability fixes:D:D:D

Woohoo! New Features! Who knows if we will see them at first though. Wouldn't they wanna hold off til the 17th?

not sure if they are adding features but here is the problem. i need to access .me to get some mail and because of them doing updates or adding feature i cant. I am paying for a service which I can get for free elsewhere...

I am sure they can have more than 1 server to at least allow users some limited activity like getting mail...

I am an Apple maniac but seriously considering not renewing my Me account :( I consider .me the failure of Apple in the last years...

Are you sure the problem isn't on your end? I'm in MobileMe now...and haven't had any issues getting in the past few days.

i also noticed that the check for waranty status seems to be down...
maybe apple is doing major changes to site, or they transfer apple.com to a twitter account ;)
