The HD video from their performance on David Letterman of this song is sweet. (you can see it on YouTube...)

This song is just "Magnificent".

Sorry, couldn't help myself. :D

Unknown Caller is also a great song off the album. I love the Mac references.

Coronel Mustard is right - it's by far the best song on the album - U2 going out with a bang :apple:

I'd agree that it's one of the best song on the article but I'd have to disagree with you thinking they will be going away anytime soon. Watch the first 30 seconds of this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBJqWPv7IGo and you'll see first hand.

i am glad to hear that quite a few people agree with me:D

As for U2- i think they will keep producing albums as long as the demand is there from the fans and the songs that they make meet up to their high standards. I think their new album- no line on the horizon is another good, solid addition- they have once again combined classic u2, through songs such as Magnificent and fez-being born, with some new material such as Cedars Of Lebanon.

I'm not feeling the current U2 album, don't know why, but at the same time this very thing happened to me back when how to dismantle an Atomic bomb came out and it grew on me.

This and Moment Of Surrender are two of my favorite song's off the new album.

One of the weakest tunes of the (overall very very good) album. Still like it though, but can't match Moment of Surrender and Fez-Being Born

saw them live a few weeks ago... magnificent was amazing... unknown caller is my 2nd best song on the album.

however, the remix they do of 'go crazy tonight' took me by surprise and i loved it!

Yep that remix version is awesome... I saw them live twice this tour (both Amsterdam gigs)... NLOTH the song itself is brilliant too. And how about bringing back Ultra Violet? One of their best songs ever

yeah, ultraviolet was a highlight... and unforgettable fire! The stage was amazing though, and when it transformed it sent a shiver down my spine. best gig i have ever gone to.

Not too hard really.... Album was probably their worst in a decade!

Album didn't do too well here in Ireland. Topped the charts for a week and has since slumped.... At least they are still good live.

Can't agree. Best album since Zooropa. ATYCLB and HTDAAB were quite boring (except for a few songs like Beautiful Day, Walk On, Vertigo, City Of Blinding Lights, Miracle Drug).

Reason why album didnt sell as well as HTDAAB did is because it's more experimental, not as much mainstream as the last two were.

Old thread, I know - but the music video for Magnificent is one of the coolest ones I've seen in a while. You can tell the group has the money to put into good production.
