My girlfriend has bought the new Mac Mini with Nvidia graphics. She bought the smallest model and upgraded it with 4Gb RAM. She only wants to use it with Boot Camp running Windows XP (!). When I look at the computers specs booted into XP it states Nvidia 9400M with 512Mb VRAM! Thats a surprise. I have read several threads about 1Gb RAM giving 128Mb of shared VRAM and 2Gb RAM giving 256Mb of shared VRAM, but I didn't expect it to rise to 512Mb of VRAM when 4Gb of RAM is installed. This is great!!!

It won't show that in OSX. I wonder if XP is reporting properly as I've had several Thinkpads with XP report numbers which were higher than the specs indicated. anyone else?

My MBP does that too in XP running bootcamp. I have a 256MB GeForce 8600M GT in there according to the specsheets :p
