Greetings,

Just got my new Macbook Aluminum 2.0 Ghz and even though I know this thing wasn't made for gaming, I was wondering which games work well. Here's what I've tried:

Downloaded the Unreal Tournament 2004 Demo. Couldn't even get passed the main menu. It wouldn't allow me to click on any of the menu selections. The sound was also very poor (cracking and hissing).
Downloaded the Quake 4 Demo and it plays great on an 800x600 resolution. Very little slowdown and glitching.

Any others?

I play BZFlag and it runs excellent. I use a 2.4 GHz with the aluminum. But it is alot better than my previous white macbook with the Intel GMA 950 card. The graphics are amazing. I was wowed.

Try the games/gaming forum.

I would also suggest that you ask "Does game X work?" rather than a generic request for all titles that may or may not be playable.

I use my PC for gaming :D I am also thinking of getting a MacBook but only when Snow Leopard comes out. Can you log onto things like steam and play TF2, Cod etc on windows using bootcamp.

I've been playing Fallout 3 in bootcamp, it runs relatively well, except for the occassional frame rate decrease when there's tons of enemies.

Are you looking to play any games in particular? The apple games section has a lot of info on what games work etc. A LOT of threads.

Upgrading the ram and hdd would dramatically improve in-game performance.
