It's in pretty damn good working condition, esp. considering I bought in in July 2001, and have used it every day since. I recently had it checked and reformated, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it internally. It has AppleCare until August 2004.
The only problems are:
•The casing is a bit worn looking, but only if you look at it up close. So sue me, I lugged it around every day for 3 years
•One of the USB ports is wonky-bordering-on-broken
Otherwise, the puppy works great. The Airport card was just added less than 2 months ago, and the battery and adapter were bothed purchased in the last six months. It's loaded with OS X 10.3 and Office for OS X, among other things.
