unable to submit to queue in Compressor

I am trying to submit a job in Compressor but each time I get a messages that reads:

Unable to submit to queue.
Please restart your computer or verify your Compressor installation is correct.

I have restarted several times but the message persists.
Can anyone please advise on what the problem might be and how to solve it?
