I loved this song (found on Donde Estan Los Ladrones? and on Laundry Service in English with the title "Eyes Like Yours") since I first heard it. It has very evident Middle Eastern influence, and it's very catchy but also very beautiful. The remix that Shakira put together for her live performances of this song is fabulous, probably better than the album version. Try this song out, or better yet, hit Target for a discounted price of the fabulous DVD/CD set. Oh, also, the iTunes preview that was chosen to represent the whole song is horrible and it's really just the intro to the concert, which happens to be on the same track but is not part of the song. Doesn't that suck? lol have fun!

Shakira rocks specially hard in Spanish! I'm actually looking forward to buying a CD at a store now! (Normally I love iTMS since I don't have to get my lazy self to the music store.)

Yeah, definately get the actual DVD/CD set. It's so worth it. You get an awesome 90 minute documentary of the tour and hear about Shakira and her creative process. I like her Spanish more than in English also, but she's never horrid. Not to mention the show! She is an awesome belly dancer, and her moves blew me away when I saw her on tour, and then when I watched the DVD. Her performances of Ojos Asi and Whenever, Wherever are amazing, but I wish she had sung Suerte, instead of WW. If you aren't fluent in Spanish, I hope you remember to turn on the English subtitles when you watch the documentary because it's about a third in Spanish. That's what I did. Anyway, I'm glad to meet another Shakira fan on here, and happy listening!

Lo siento, me olvidé hacer post para los hispanohablantes...casi. En realidad no es necesario hacer un post así porque no hay ningunos miembros de DailyTunes que no hablan ingles, ¿verdad? A continuación, Shakira es bellísima, y esta canción es la Shakira de las canciónes. Bella, exótica, e inteligente. Recomiendo que compres este DVD/CD porque el baile y el canto son maravillosos, y también el documental. Goza de aprender del proceso de Shakira y de su última gira. ¡CÓMPRALO en Target! Allí es de bajo precio, y no es deseado gastar más dinero que es necesario. Una de las cosas que me gustan más del DVD es el belly dance! Ya permito que me salgas (risa). ¡No quiero tomar demasiado tiempo! Hasta luego.

Es interesante que aui en los Estados Unidos las personas piensan que Shakira es alguien nuevo, o que no hace mucho que esta cantando, cuando en realidad canta desde los 14 años!

Gracias, y estoy de acuerdo. En realidad yo descubrí Shakira cuando yo escuché "Whenever, Wherever," pero duespués yo escuché unas de sus canciones en español como Suerte, Te Dejo Madrid, Ojos Así, etc. Entonces leí muchos artículos sobre ella, y por ésos supe que ella empezó a cantar cuando tenía 13 o 14 años. ¡Qué talentosa! —Siento de tener que decir este: ¡Nunca compraba discos por ella hasta 2004!— Descargaba los éxitos por el Internet. En este año me di cuenta de que lo que hacía no tiene razón, y compré Pies Descalzos, Dónde están los ladrones, Servicio de Lavandería (edición especial), y mas luego, Live and Off the Record. Por comprar sus discos, yo descubrí muchas canciones que ahora me encantan, pero que no conocería si no compraría los discos. No conocía de No Creo, Te Espero Sentada, Vuelve, Octavo Día, Que Vuelvas, Dónde Están Los Ladrones, etc, hasta compré los discos. Quiero decir GRACIAS a Shakira por cantar y por inspirar.
