Usb 2.0

Wondering if anyone had a USB 2.0 card in their computer. I want to know how they run.

I am thinking about getting a 5 port one for 27.00 shipped...is that a good price?

yeah.. I have a 5 port PCI card. I dont remeber the brand but is a 4 port + 1 internal port. It cost me about $35-$45 a year ago if I remember right. Your price is the cheepest I have seen. But then again, I havent been really looking for USB 2.0 PCI cards in a while. I got it about a year ago. I have had no problems with it. Plugged it in my Quicksilver right after I pulled my mac out of the box. Didnt need any divers or anything. I dont have any USB 2 devices so I cant tell you how fast it is. I just use it for my USB 1.1 stuff. I can tell you that its a hell of a lot better than using those dame USB1.1 hubs! I have 2 powered USB hubs and some times I get low power warrnings on devices that dont have their own power supplys. I dont get those with things that are plugged in to the PCI card. And... it seems faster.
