Are you trying to burn a disc, or read a burned DVD+R.
If you are trying to burn, well... Apple superdrives don't support DVD+R. Try DVD-R instead.

i've started using FujiFilm DVD-Rs and from the look of them they seem to be really good quality, and i can get them at a price that won't break the bank either.
it all depends really, but generally you get what you pay for.

I think Memorx are not got all around. I once used a DVD-RAM from Memorex and I lost all the data that was on there. So now I only use Fuji, TDK or panasonic, after all its for backup and I need it to back up. With DVDs I havent experience any bad disks, normally go for Verbatim. cheap and chearful.
