I don't think there is oil in Indonesia... the only thing there is a PowerMac G5 factory. ;)

the article says the training took place "from late 2002 to the middle of 2003". is there an aspect of the War on Terror that's aimed at helping countries such as Indonesia fight terrorism?

if so, what went wrong (besides the pre-occupation [no pun intended] w/ iraq)? if not, why the **** not?

Good to see you can finally admit the truth. Too bad you wern't saying that 13 months ago.

And you, of all people, should know better than to say something so crass as that the 'only thing there' is a G5 factory.

Uhhhh, have you ever heard of Brunei? Maybe you should look into all the Australians who are dying to get their hands on the Timorese oil fields.

Indonesia is the largest Muslim nation in the world and due to its landscape, is ripe for secret terror organizations. With the recent elections pointing to a possible future return of Suharto's party, Indonesia can only be considered a poweder keg waiting for someone to light it.
