WHEN A NEW UPLOAD?

undefinedHI, I'M FROM ITALY. I DECIDED TO SWITCH TO A MAC, A FRIEND OF MINE (MAC USER) SAYD ME THAT PROBABLY IN A SHORT TIME APPLE WILL DO AN UPLOAD, FOR EXAMPLE A DVD-R OR MORE MEMORY IN ENTRY LEVEL MACHINES...I DECIDED TO BUY AN IMAC 15"...SHOULD I HAVE TO WAIT OR BUY IT IMMEDIATELY?

I'm not sure if the 15 inch imac has a dvd burner, but you can get one with the 17 inch model. Also, don't expect apple to give you enough ram. You'll want to buy that separately (not apple ram, it's too expensive)

As far as apple updating other parts in the imac, Macrumors has a tab at the top of the site that lists a buyers guide with statistics and relevant links about apple's products that can give you an idea about whether or not purchasing now is a good idea.

The original 15" iMac had a Superdrive but once the 17" iMac's came out it was removed.
